If you grew up in the 90s, you probably remember that moment of excitement when you pressed the power button. The sound of spinning fans, the clicking of a hard drive, or a PC speaker beeping. Finally, beautiful ambient music greets you on your journey.
Windows 95 brought 256 colors to our desktops and hearts. A bold vision of the future, which for many of us was the beginning of an adventure into the world of computers.
What is i95?
i95 is a complete theme for your iOS device that lets you bring old memories and fun back. Customization is free, safe, and requires no special software or programming skills. However, it takes some time to set everything up. Icons are replaced by the Apple Shortcuts app. Widgets are easy to install through the Widgy App.

Setup process
The personalization operation takes place entirely on the device. It consists of downloading the zip archive, changing the system wallpapers, creating shortcuts in the shortcuts app, and downloading the free widget app. The entire process should take about 40 minutes.
File preparation
- Download zip file.
- Go to Files App and locate the saved file in Downloads folder.
- Tap on saved file.
Archive file will be extracted and new folder “i95_RetronPrint_xx” will be created.
You can delete the downloaded zip file.
Wallpapers
- Go to Files App > Downloads > i95_RetronPrint_xx > Wallpaper
- Select desired image and tap on it.
- Tap , then tap on Save Image.
- Go to Settings > Wallpaper, and tap on Lock Screen image.
- Tap and select desired image.
- Tap Done.
- Go to Settings > Wallpaper, and tap on Home Screen image.
- Tap Colour, then tap on Colour Picker
- Insert custom values under:
- RED – 58
- GREEN – 131
- BLUE 132
- Tap , then , then tap Done.
Icon swap
- Go Shortcuts App , than tap on icon.
- Tap Open App Action from Next Action Suggestions.
An empty, untitled shortcut appears in the shortcut editor. - Tap on Open command to asign App.
- Find and tap on Aplication you would like to replace.
- Tap , than Rename and input Name of App you would like to replace.
- Tap , than Add to Home Screen.
- Tap temporary icon, than Chose File.
- Find and tap new icon for App, than tap Add.
Widgets
- Go to App Store , then find and download Widgy Widget App.
If you Download Widgy Widget App for the first time you will need to open it and do mirst run configuration. - Go to Files App > i95_RetronPrint_xx > Widgy_Widgets. Chose widget to import and tap on it.
Chosen widget will be imported into Widgy App. - Tap , then go to Manage tab.
- Tap on empty slot, then chose imported widget.
- Go to the Home Screen page where you want to add the widget, then touch and hold the Home Screen background until the apps begin to jiggle.
- Tap at the top of the screen to open the widget gallery.
- Scroll or search to find the widget you want, tap it, then swipe through the size options.
- When you see the size you want, tap Add Widget.
- While the apps are still jiggling, move the widget where you want it on the screen, then tap Done.
Startup sound
- Go Shortcuts App > Automation, than tap on icon.
- Scroll down and find Charge.
- Tap Run Immediately, then tap Next.
- Tap Play Sound action.
- Tap Search bar and find File and tap on it.
- Press and hold empty File action, and move it above Play sound action.
- Tap Play sound action, then Chose Variables, then File.
- Tap File action > Sounds > Start, then tap Open
- Tap Done.
